These are a few of the pictures my mom got of Aidan yesterday. I love the first one. It looks like he's smiling in it. He really liked the puppy. Oh, I forgot to mention that my mom cut Aidan's hair Friday night. So he's got his short summer hair cut, just in time for the 100 degree sweltering heat.

Looks like some good memories are beginning to replace some of the bad. Sounds like you guys may need to buy Aidan a little pup! : )

We already have 2 dogs but they are older. We have a lab who stays outside because we live with my mom. We also have a chihuahua, but it's difficult to get him to interact with Aidan. He's a bit hyper. He loves the nurses and will sit with them in Aidan's room. He knows something is different because since we've been home he hangs out in Aidan's room more.
When we find our own place, we might consider getting a puppy that can grow up around Aidan and be accustomed to him and his needs.
Aidan loved the therapy dogs that we brought to rehab. He was very calm when they were around.
Oh my gosh, Aidan is so gorgoues - that dark hair and those big, dark eyes! Thank you for taking the time to post the photos, we get so excited to see him. You & Russell have some beautiful children!

He really does look like he is smiling! I think he was on the inside if not the outside! Evan is gorgeous too. I continue to pray daily for more steps to recovery and for strength for you. God Bless
